I plan to do a series of posts on pets I have had. Since I make pet items and also raised many of the smaller variety, will have other pet related posts. I also make natural stone jewelry so from time to time will post about natural stones and their meanings. Who knows what else I will end up putting here.

Wisdom Teeth.

I know this one was hard.. I did have 1 winner.. Congrats.

Story or origin.

The Ancient Greeks believed that a person reached Adulthood around the Same time as the 3rd Molars typically came in. They started to identify the Mark of this Passage of Time with the Arrival of the 3rd molars. Since Wisdom was also thought to be Reached at Adulthood.. they assumed Wisdom came in with the Teeth.... That is Why we call them Wisdom Teeth and not just 3rd molars.
